Annie
Five rounds for time: 50–40–30–20–10 double-unders and sit-ups.
Source: CrossFitBoth movements follow the same descending ladder.
Annie is a CrossFit benchmark pairing double-unders with sit-ups. It specifies the amount of work rather than a finish time. Each of its five rounds has a smaller target than the previous round.
Read one round at a time
Start with 50 double-unders and 50 sit-ups. Then complete 40 of each, followed by 30, 20 and 10. Finish both movements at a number before moving to the next number.
Understand the total
The ladder adds up to 150 repetitions of each movement. The published version has no fixed time cap or scheduled rest. Completion time depends on the attempt.
What Rhythm keeps track of
Each round carries its own target. You see the current movement and number without having to re-read the entire ladder or remember which number comes next.
